A Legacy of Love

When Passion and Purpose Align
Chances are, you’ve already heard about Wish Upon A Wedding—and for good reason. The people behind this national non-profit organization are as incredible as the life-changing work they do, which is this: giving couples grappling with terminal illness or extreme health challenges a memory-making celebration that redefines the term “dream wedding.” At zero cost. With no strings attached.
As a creative team exclusively focused on delivering legacy-making photos and film to couples in love, we couldn’t think of a more worthy cause to uphold. Weddings have brought so much good into our lives. It’s our honor to do good in return by investing in the happiness of couples who have been dealt the worst, but deserve the absolute best this life has to offer.
Every single wedding media package we book directly funds a wedding for another couple that wouldn’t have been able to celebrate otherwise.
Giving back is an embedded part of our ecosystem, meaning there’s nothing “extra” you need to do to fulfill a wish. You’re a part of something bigger just by being here.
We’re also intentional about creating pathways for F&O team members to donate their time and talent toward providing photo and video services for wish recipients, and are grateful to serve as a sponsor for Wish Upon a Wedding’s Chicago gala.
Celebrating the Stories That Matter Most
When considering charitable causes to support, Wish Upon a Wedding immediately stood out. This isn’t an organization that just talks about changing lives. They’re doing it, daily—with compassion, transparency, and excellence on all fronts.

Jordan and Summer met three years ago through a mutual friend in a twenty-somethings group Jordan was part of. Although they lived in different cities, they FaceTimed every day, quickly falling in love as they got to know one another. When Summer came to visit for Jordan’s birthday, she never left, and from that moment on, they began building their life together.
The two became engaged and started planning their future, but everything changed after they were involved in a serious car accident. Summer suffered significant injuries and underwent a brain scan, which unexpectedly revealed a mass deep in her brain. At the time, doctors were not overly concerned and chose to monitor it closely. Wanting to move forward with their lives, Jordan and Summer decided to elope at the courthouse and officially begin their journey as husband and wife.

Laura and Mike met in Denver in 2010 while Laura was in town on a work trip. They were both working at Starbucks, exchanged a simple hello, and have been together ever since. Less than a year later, they were married and began building a life together, eventually moving to Raleigh for work. Along the way, their family grew, and they went on to welcome four beautiful children.
In May of 2023, Laura wasn’t feeling well. Having lived with lupus for years, she assumed she was experiencing a flare-up. Since she was also due for a mammogram, she decided to get checked out, and after multiple tests, she received a devastating diagnosis: triple-negative breast cancer. Laura began immediate surgery and treatment but has since faced severe complications and many difficult setbacks.

Michael and Rogina met four years ago at a concert on her birthday. They spotted each other across the bar, felt an instant spark, and spent the night talking, laughing, and dancing. By the end of the evening, Michael knew he had to ask for her number, and just three days later, they went on their first date. In his words, they’ve “been dancing through life together ever since”.
Two years into their relationship, everything changed. Michael, who was working in construction and helping care for his mother, started feeling unwell. What began as fatigue and swelling in his legs soon led to devastating news, stage 4 prostate cancer that had already spread throughout his body.

Minerva and Tiffannii met through mutual friends in 2008. Living in different states at the time, they began a beautiful long-distance friendship that eventually grew into love. Wanting to be closer, Minerva moved to Los Angeles to be near Tiffannii, and in 2012, the couple relocated to Minerva’s hometown in West Virginia. Two years later, they traveled to Washington, D.C., to be legally married in what they now lovingly describe as a “comedy of errors”, complete with a melted cake, a dress that didn’t quite fit, and an officiant who arrived late.
Soon after, they welcomed twins, who are now nine years old, and spent the next decade focused on raising their family and building a life together.

In January of 2020, Sara traveled to Rome, where she heard a local saying that if you toss coins over your shoulder, you’ll find love. Four weeks later, that superstition came true. Back home in Chicago, she met Ramiro at one of her favorite restaurants, where he happened to be filling in as a manager. They hit it off instantly and began dating soon after.
Their love grew quickly and deeply. Three years later, they were engaged and spent the next year planning their wedding, buying a home, and dreaming about their beautiful future ahead. But just weeks before their wedding, their world turned upside down. Sara was diagnosed with breast cancer that had spread to her liver and lungs. She began treatment immediately, and the night before her wedding, she bravely shaved her head.

Tiffany and Josh first met on a dating site in 2013. Both had been through failed relationships and were raising young children, so they quickly formed a deep friendship built on understanding and shared experiences. Their first meeting was at a mall play place, where their kids could laugh and play while they talked for hours. They had lunch afterward, and before long, that friendship turned into love.
Not long after they met, Tiffany suffered a serious fall that shattered the titanium rod in her leg, a remnant from her battle with cancer as a teenager. The accident also pinched a nerve in her neck, leading to debilitating migraines that lasted for years. Despite only dating at the time, Josh stepped in without hesitation, becoming her caregiver and unwavering source of strength.

Anmarie underwent a full hysterectomy and was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer. She and Tyler have since moved in with her parents for additional support as she endures grueling chemotherapy treatments. Despite the enormous toll on her body, Anmarie continues to seek joy, treasuring every moment with Tyler and their little boy.
We were deeply honored to grant this beautiful couple their long-awaited wedding wish, giving them the day they had been dreaming about for the past four years, a day filled with love, laughter, and hope.

Wanting to move forward with their lives, Jordan and Summer decided to elope at the courthouse and officially begin their journey as husband and wife.
Then, last year, Summer began experiencing frequent concussions. Another scan revealed that the tumor had grown significantly. She was ultimately diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to her brain. Despite never having smoked and being so young, Summer’s cancer is extremely rare. She is currently undergoing treatment and facing tremendous physical and emotional challenges.
We were deeply moved by Jordan and Summer’s story and were honored to help give them the wedding they had always dreamed of. Summer has endured so much in such a short time, and it was a true privilege to give her a day where the focus could be on love and joy, not doctor’s appointments and treatments.

When we met Michael and Rogina, we knew that time was precious. His health was rapidly declining, and he had recently been hospitalized with little hope of returning home. With the help of an incredible team of vendors, we came together to grant their wish for a wedding.
It wasn’t the day they had imagined, but it was filled with love. Surrounded by compassion and gentle joy, Michael and Rogina said “I do” in the hospital, a beautiful celebration of devotion and strength.
Just a few weeks later, Michael passed away. Our hearts are with Rogina as she learns to navigate life without her best friend. We’re honored to have met Michael and to have helped create a moment of love and peace in his final days.

This past year, while on a family trip to Las Vegas, Minerva began experiencing intense back pain. Having worked in a warehouse for many years, she initially assumed it was from overuse. But by the time they returned home, the pain had become unbearable and sent her to the emergency room. Scans revealed devastating news: Minerva was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that had spread to her bones. Her treatment schedule has been grueling, and the financial burden of care has even forced the family from their home.
We were so honored to meet this incredibly kind and loving couple and to grant them the wedding they had always hoped to have. Though their days have been filled with challenges, their hope, resilience, and unwavering love for one another remain strong and a powerful light for their children and everyone who meets them.
